Surgical management of non-acute ectopic pregnancy:
This can be treated by laparoscopic (Key-hole) approach and performing salpingectomy.
At the time of surgery the condition of the other tube is assessed and salpingectomy or salpingostomy is performed.
Anti –D is administered to Rhesus negative women
If salpingostomy was performed a follow up with weekly ß-hCG until measurements return to normal .
